Windows Art Trail 2009

Saturday 11th - Sunday 26th July

Our first Braintree Art Trail has the theme Windows, in recognition of the part Crittals has played in our heritage & history. 30 shops & venues, radiating from George Yard, are hosting a local artist's work.

Open Studios

Local artists are opening their studios during the Art Trail.

Admission: FREE

Participating artists are:

• Paintings & 3D work including jewellery & cards by Glynis Hughes, Liz Pottinger & Sue Fraser
• Sculptures, paintings and drawings by Matt Gardiner

Earls Colne Art group show a selection of their work:

• Paintings & ceramics by Michael & Anne Duffill
• Potter & community artist Peter Harrington opens his studio. Enter through a charming secluded garden to view hand thrown pottery & art pieces for the garden
• Georgie Roy invites you to "A Celebration of Artwork." Showing her own work alongside that of students on her courses.
• Valerie Robertson & daughters Anna Robertson & Sarah Wells show their paintings
• Paintings & prints by Wendy Cruikshank
